Dan Martin
Road
With a 14-year cycling career at the WorldTour level, spanning from 2008 to 2021, Dan Martin has made his mark on the sport with Cannondale-Garmin, Quick-Step Floors, UAE Team Emirates and Israel Start-Up Nation teams.
From a young age, Dan’s life revolved around cycling, a passion that took him to the very top of the sport. Among other palmarès, Dan won two monuments, Liege-Bastogne-Liege and il Lombardia, with numerous top 10 overall finishes in all three grand tours. Dan won stages at the 2013 and 2018 Tour de France, as well as the 2011 Vuelta a España and 2020 and 2021 Giro d'Italia. Outside of the WorldTour, Dan also took part in two Olympic Games.
At the end of 2021, Dan decided to retire from the sport, but his love for cycling is very much intact. During his career he realized just how important equipment is to performance, and took an active interest in product testing and development.
Dan joins the Argon 18 team as an ambassador, enthusiastically sharing his feedback on the bikes as he pushes them to the limit in the mountains surrounding his home in Andorra, the ideal testing ground for a high-performance road bike.
With hundreds of thousands of kilometres training and racing over his WorldTour career, Dan knows a thing or two about bikes. Argon 18 is thrilled to work with him as an ambassador and advisor as we continue to create the fastest road bikes possible.
